I have worked for One to One Health as a health coach since December 2019. Prior to that, I have experience working as a personal trainer, group exercise instructor, wellness coordinator, and manager of an on-site wellness department. Overall, I have worked in the health and wellness field for over 20 years.
WHY DO YOU LIKE WORKING AT THE CENTER FOR HEALTHY LIVING?
It is great to work as a team to improve the health and well-being of Purdue employees. I enjoy building relationships, both with co-workers and patients. I am passionate about leading a healthy lifestyle and enjoy sharing that passion with others by partnering with them on their journey to better health and well-being.
PHILOSOPHY OF CARE
Lifestyle change does not happen overnight. And it is not all or nothing. It happens slowly, week by week, day by day, and even in minute-to-minute decisions we make. Every healthy choice adds up to a healthier person. My goal is to collaborate with patients to set realistic and achievable goals that contribute to lifelong healthy changes.

In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, reading, crafting, and spending time with my husband and four children.

LENGTH OF TIME AT THE CENTER FOR HEALTHY LIVING
I’m new to CHL as of August 28, 2023. My previous employment experiences include interventional pain management (2015–22) and home-based medical care, palliative, primary care (2022–23).
WHY DO YOU LIKE WORKING AT THE CENTER FOR HEALTHY LIVING?
I am excited to provide care to a diverse population, from young to old. I love to teach, but, most importantly, I love to listen to my patients and problem solve.
PHILOSOPHY OF CARE
I believe today’s healthcare, and tomorrow’s, needs to be patient-family focused. The best-made plans will fall short if we don’t take the time to listen and understand not just our patient’s health issues, but also their social, economical, and cultural needs as well.
