Dr. Beomjin Kim

Beomjin Kim is the director of the Information Analytics and Visualization Center and a Professor of the Computer Science Department at Purdue University Fort Wayne (PFW). He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology. His research interests include data analytics and visualization, virtual reality, computer graphics, and computer science education. After joining PFW in 1998, he conducted many projects funded by the National Science Foundation, the State of Indiana, and regional businesses. His ongoing project includes applying modern computing technology to healthcare and community well-being and introducing computing education to future computer scientists.
