Ph.D., Computer Engineering Coordinator

Dr. Guoping Wang is the Chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma in 2003. His research areas include the Internet of Things, Edge Computing, FPGA for Signal Processing, and Embedded Systems, etc. Dr. Wang has participated in and supervised many projects, such as the Voice-Controlled Robotic Vehicle, Industrial Internet of Things – Plants Power Monitor, Path Finding of Auto-Driving Car using Deep Learning, Intelligent Collision Prevention System, Voice Signal Processing, and Robotic Football.
