Your PFW Scholarship provided upon admission has been partially funded by a donor and it is a scholarship. Upon your admission to PFW, the university guaranteed a merit scholarship (for example: valued at $4000 a year -split equally fall/spring terms) the placeholder for these funds is titled Purdue Fort Wayne T/F. The university then has named scholarships, in your case, it could be an ETCS Donor Scholarship, which supported the full value of your fall or spring award. Any remaining funds on your Purdue Fort Wayne T/F in accepted status will then be paid/supported by the university.

The benefit is that you now have two scholarships you can cite when highlighting your academic career during your professional pursuits. Both scholarships are merit based:

  • The PFW Scholarship
    • This scholarship is based on your academic success in high school (High School GPA- academic merit)
  • ETCS Donor Scholarships
    • These scholarships are based on your current college data. The criteria for awarding included: majoring in ETCS, financial need and academic merit.

Receiving these scholarship states to others that you are a distinguished and accomplished student.
