NIL donations helps [sic] PFW hoops give back

Under coach Jon Coffman, Purdue Fort Wayne basketball has always tried to produce players who are also well-rounded people.

To that end, the Mastodons in Coffman’s decade leading the program have done everything from financial literacy courses to ballroom dancing to giving back at places such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana and its Real Men Read program.

Coffman’s team partnered with donors and the Mastodons’ growing NIL collective, Dons for Fort Wayne, to work more than 300 hours in recent months at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne and the YMCA at Renaissance Pointe. There they have built relationships with children from across the city and taken the next step in affecting the community in which they play.
