WBB team helping PFW realize its Division I potential
A good problem to have when the victories are piling up is knowing the number used in media coverage about a winning streak has already grown by the time those links are shared in weekly and biweekly newsletters. That’s just what happened this past weekend as the Purdue Fort Wayne women’s basketball team (20-5, 15-0 HL) made it 17 in a row with its 74-52 conquest over Wright State (6-19, 4-11 HL) at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. The Dons are back in action on Saturday when they take on Cleveland State (20-5, 11-3 HL) at Gates Sports Center. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.
