Notre Dame tops graduation rate metric across all Division I schools
Notre Dame leads all Football Bowl Subdivision athletic departments in Graduation Success Rate, per the new numbers released by the NCAA on Wednesday. The Irish have been at the apex of the GSR lists for years, ranking in the top three among schools with FBS football teams for 18 consecutive years and leading the list in 16 of those years.
The Purdue Fort Wayne athletic department turned in an overall GSR of 89, its highest score in 12 years, with the men’s basketball, men’s volleyball, women’s golf and women’s volleyball teams each earning scores of 100.
The Mastodon men’s basketball program has earned a perfect score five years in a row after its rating fell as low as 50 in 2008. It was at 69 as recently as 2014.
PFW women’s golf has received a score of 100 for 14 consecutive reports and was one of only four teams in the Horizon League to reach that mark this year.
