Summit scholars program
Criteria for becoming a Summit Scholar.

Current high school senior
Complete Core 40 Diploma requirements or other college-prep curriculum

Grades and Test Scores
3.95 GPA, with 90th-percentile class ranking, or 1380 SAT or higher, or 29 ACT or higher
International students: TOEFL score of 89 or higher, or IELTS score of 7.5 or higher

Apply to PFW on time
Complete and submit the Purdue Fort Wayne application by January 6

Invite only
Submit Summit Scholars application by January 15, 2025

Compete
Participate in the Virtual Summit Scholars Competition on Saturday, February 22, 2025

Requirements
Staying on track.
To keep your Summit Scholar position and benefits throughout your time at PFW, you must meet the following requirements each school year:
- Be enrolled full-time during the fall and spring semesters
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Meet program expectations
- Reside in on-campus housing
