Nature's Way of Minimizing EnergyScience Café

Dr. Dragnev will give a brief presentation on his research in optimization problems in mathematics. Then the rest of the hour will be for questions and group discussion.

The presentation will begin at 6:30 pm, with questions and discussions for about an hour.

How to Enter the Sigma Xi Student Research Competition

Students (undergraduate and graduate) presenting research in a scientific discipline at the Symposium may simultaneously enter the Sigma Xi Student Research Competition. Send an abstract (electronically, in Microsoft Word) to Professor George Mourad [mourad (at) ipfw.edu] and to Dr. J. Albayyari [resp (at) ipfw.edu] . The abstract guidelines are the same as for the Symposium, see the above web site.
