Faculty Awards for Spring 2020
Congratulations to faculty award winners! The Spring 2020 awards dinner is canceled but awardees will be invited to a future event.
- Fort Wayne Chapter Sigma Xi 2020 College Science Teacher of the Year: Daniel Yorgov, Assistant Professor of Mathematical Sciences
- Fort Wayne Chapter Sigma Xi 2020 Researcher of the Year: Alessandro Selvitella, Assistant Professor of Mathematical Sciences
The Student Research and Creative Endeavor Symposium
- There were changes to the Spring 2020 Symposium format this year due to the COVID-19 public health crisis. There are no Sigma Xi student awards this year.
- The Fort Wayne chapter of Sigma Xi presents its annual student research awards based on posters judged at this event. All projects in scientific and/or engineering areas will be considered, there is no need for students to apply separately for these awards.
- Information sessions: Tuesday, November 5, 2019, noon–1 p.m., Honors Center (Helmke Library, Room 201), and again Wednesday, November 6, 2019, 11 a.m.–noon, Honors Center.
