How it works
Consult with Office of Institutional Equity for resources and options.
In the informal pathway, the complainant submits form and voluntary resolution efforts are conducted.
In the formal pathway, the complainant files complaint via web form, a decision maker makes initial assessment and appoints investigator.
The investigator conducts neutral fact-finding investigation and prepares report for review by parties and decision maker.
Decision-maker holds meeting with members of the Advisory Committee on Equity and makes determination as to whether there is a policy violation and any appropriate sanctions.
Each party has the right to appeal. Please note, Title IX Harassment pathways may follow a different process; consult Title IX coordinator.
